When and how should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by Friday, October 18, 2024. Please return your completed RSVP card in the pre-stamped envelope included with your invitation.
What should I wear?
Our wedding is black tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo and women wear a floor-length gown. If obtaining a tuxedo poses any financial hardship, we would appreciate a black suit with a black tie (bow or regular). We also recommend bringing a sweater, shawl or similar in case you get cold. Although our wedding is entirely indoors at the Jonathan Club, the air conditioning can be strong.
How do I get to the Jonathan Club?
Complimentary valet parking will be provided for those guests driving to the Jonathan Club. Otherwise, we recommend using a ride share service such as Alto, Uber or Lyft.
Please note that, per Club policy, tipping is prohibited. And always make sure you have a designated driver!
Is there anything that I should know about Jonathan Club policies?
Club members and guests are to conduct themselves with the utmost courtesy, respect and civility towards members, their families, visitors, guests and staff. Please refrain from profanity or other foul/abusive language. Texting and non-verbal communication via cell phone are permitted throughout the Club. However, voice and/or video calls are permitted only in the phone booths (three located on the third floor) or in the garage.
Are children allowed?
Although we love your children, only our young family members will be participating in the wedding day festivities -- with the exception of infants under the age of one who are with their mothers. If you are traveling from out of town and require assistance arranging childcare, please contact Alicia Nierenberg (alicia@tessa.com) for more information.
What if it rains?
Our wedding will be held entirely inside the Club, so no raincoats or umbrellas are required.
Can I take photos and video?
We ask that you refrain from using your cell phones for photos or videos during the ceremony, to allow the very talented professionals we have hired to do their job under the best possible conditions. However, feel free to capture your favorite moments during cocktail hour and the reception. Our hope is that you will be having so much fun you won't even think about your phone!
