The Story of Mosh

According to Melissa: We met on Bumble in September 2023. Josh was immediately attentive, and made a point to schedule our first date at Javier’s, which was near my office, so I wouldn’t have to worry about traffic. I love a man with a plan! Predictably, I was still 20 minutes late to meet him, but Josh didn't make me feel bad about it (which says a lot considering I have come to learn how much he values punctuality). Josh had a martini, which might seem like an odd drink order at a Mexican restaurant, but I was impressed. We had the best time, and I couldn’t wait to see him again. I had a feeling Josh felt the same. We scheduled our second date for the following week: dinner at Teleferic. Josh picked me up and seeing him made my heart beat faster. That night, I had a feeling while we were sitting at the table that Josh was the man I would marry. He had a way of listening that made me feel like I was the only person in the room, and by the end of the night, when I let him kiss me goodnight, there were sparks. From there, things progressed quickly. We both knew what we wanted, and we wanted each other. Before I met Josh, I had almost given up on finding my man (and even my parents had come to terms with it). People say: "When you know, you know." I am now convinced this is true. Josh and I have bonded over our love of family, country music and laughter. Kissing him is divine. I could not have conceived of a more perfect partner, someone I would trust implicitly. Josh is a blessing in my life and I thank God for him every day. I cannot wait to say "I do" in front of our family and closest friends!

According to Josh: Melissa and I first connected on Bumble, and I was immediately captivated by her incredible beauty. I couldn’t wait to meet this magnificent woman in person. We scheduled our first date as soon we both got back into town, and despite not talking much beforehand, the mystery and anticipation made it all the more exciting. Our first date at Javier’s was unforgettable! Melissa was a drop late, but when I saw her walking towards me, my heart skipped a beat. I eagerly arranged our second date as soon as she was free. We had a wonderful evening at Teleferic, talking for hours. That night, we shared our first kiss, which was truly magical. By our third date at Felix, I knew I had found the woman I was meant to spend my life with. Our fourth date was particularly special—I showed Melissa a project I had finished, and we spent an incredible evening together, expressing our feelings and saying “I love you” for the first time. After that night, we knew our lives would never be the same. We had both found our true love, and could not stop enjoying each other every opportunity we’ve had since. Melissa’s unwavering support and boundless love have shown me what true partnership looks like.&nbsp;I simply cannot wait to marry this amazing woman whose kindness, compassion, and grace makes every day together a blessing. You are my heart, my home, and my forever love.

Chloe and Melissa met in law school at Columbia and became best friends when they both moved back to their hometown of LA after graduation. The two have been together through thick and thin, and Melissa cannot imagine a better person to stand by her side on her wedding day.

Chloe Clifford

Josh's son Jacob is the apple of his father's eye and a treasured addition to Melissa's life. He is loving, sweet, curious, creative and funny. He loves villains (Disney, Marvel, you name it), music and singing, Legos, drawing, swimming and making new friends. He can hold his own in a group of adults but is very excited for a baby brother (but will try to get excited about a baby sister too). Josh and Melissa love him very much and look forward to building their family together.

Jacob Glass

Sarah and Melissa met freshman year at Princeton through mock trial. Sarah is a super mom, super lawyer and super friend. Almost 20 years later, their friendship is stronger than ever and the highlight of Melissa's year is traveling to visit Sarah and her beautiful family in Alaska in December and attending the indescribable Talkeetna Bachelor Auction.

Emily and Melissa are both native Angelenos and became close friends at Princeton. Since graduation, they have continued their friendship from New York to Charlottesville to LA. Emily's brilliance, loyalty and contagious laugh are some of Melissa's favorite things about her.

Emily Feder

Liz is a ray of sunshine. Liz and Melissa met at the Princeton send-off reception in Hancock Park in summer 2005, and quickly bonded because they were wearing the same very on-trend peasant skirt, albeit in different colors. Princeton randomly assigned them to dorm rooms directly across the hall from each other. Liz's optimism, grace, generosity and compassion are unmatched. She is also an incredibly accomplished fertility specialist. Melissa is thrilled and honored to be a bridesmaid in Liz's wedding on September 21, 2024.

Elizabeth Dilday

Liz (aka El Lizzo) came into Melissa's life in July 2021 when she came aboard the Mystery of the Seas for Melissa's maritime murder mystery birthday party with Pete Quinzio. After an eventful evening, there was no doubt in Melissa's mind that Liz would be a friend forever. The two went on a very special girls' getaway to England in 2023 (hence the Stonehenge photo) and Melissa was honored to be a bridesmaid in Liz and Pete's wedding last October. She is excited to share this special day with one of the most interesting, creative, thoughtful and intellectually curious people she has ever met.

Elisabeth Quinzio

Maid of honor Chloe brought Judy and Melissa together. Over the past years, Melissa's life (and the city of Los Angeles as a whole) has been enriched by Judy's presence. She is thoughtful, adventurous and loving, and an incredible hostess. From martini-filled dinners at Vito's to beach days in El Segundo, the two have made countless wonderful memories together, and Melissa is lucky to have Judy in her bridal party!

Judy McLellan

Josh's sister and Melissa's soon to be sister-in-law, Jenna is an absolute powerhouse with a massive career at PwC and absolutely impeccable style (her jewelry and accessories are to die for always). Jenna and her wonderful husband (Darren) and kiddos (Carter and Chloe) have welcomed Melissa to the family with warmth and love. Melissa is so excited to call Jenna her sister!

Jenna Menaker

Josh's youngest sister Jamie is a super mom and accomplished producer. She and her daughter (Laine) have welcomed Melissa into their family with warmth and love. Melissa eagerly participates in Jamie's teasing about Josh being from a different generation and not getting their cultural references. Melissa is blessed to have Jamie in her life and cannot wait to call her sister!

Jamie Glass

Jose and Melissa became close friends over the past 10+ years, including on many trips to Dallas, LA and around the country to go to concerts together. Their last concert was Parker McCollum in Cincinnati, Ohio in February '23. If you haven't listened, you must. Melissa credits Jose with keeping her current on all things pop culture, introducing her to some of her favorite musical artists, helping her grow a thicker skin, making her obsessed with the great state of Texas and making her laugh constantly. He is truly a ride or die friend. Melissa cannot wait to celebrate her wedding day with Jose!

Jose Valerio

Ralph and Melissa met at Princeton's freshman orientation program, Community Action, prior to their freshman year. Apparently Melissa managed to offend Ralph when they met. Luckily, she was able to convince him she wasn't a miserable wench and they have become inseparable confidantes and friends over the past 10+ years. Ralph is everything: caring, sensitive, stylish (beyond belief), hilarious and ambitious. Ralph has also singlehandedly enabled Melissa's purse addiction (it's bad). He has supported Melissa through good times and bad, and she is thrilled to have him in the wedding party to celebrate this incredible milestone with her.

Ralph Schaefer

Tim and Melissa met at Princeton and have become close friends over the past 10+ years. Tim is a socialite, entrepreneur and force to be reckoned with. He is the only person who could have convinced Melissa to try her first Barry's Bootcamp class among the beautiful citizens of West Hollywood. Tim's humor and confidence inspire Melissa, and she admires his big bird beauty too. She is thrilled to have him in the wedding party.

Timothy Horvat

Josh's brother-in-law Darren is the life of the party and a wonderful father. He and Jenna have welcomed Melissa and her parents into the family with warmth and kindness. Melissa has enjoyed bonding with him over his New Jersey roots! Melissa and Josh are grateful to have him in the wedding party.

Darren Menaker

Melissa and Andrew met during their 1L year of law school at Columbia and became best friends. Melissa absolutely would not have made it through those three years of misery without Andrew's support, impeccable sense of humor and pragmatism. Andrew is a successful attorney and a wonderful father to Carmella. Now that Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback, Melissa can join Andrew in lamenting Jets losses. She is thrilled that Andrew will be a part of her special day.

Josh's niece Laine loves Paw Patrol, karaoke, swimming and her cousins. The first time she met Melissa she asked: "Who are you?" They became fast friends!

Josh's niece Chloe loves fashion, sticker books and Disney princesses. She also loves singing (and her Taylor Swift catalogue is extensive)!

Josh's nephew Carter loves Legos, baseball and the NYT Spelling Bee. He will be an excellent ring bearer!

Be advised that the Jonathan Club does not offer room service, and that guests must comply with all Club policies (e.g., dress code, telephone use) during their stay. Deluxe Rooms ($239), Deluxe Suites ($279) and Two Bedroom Suites ($349) are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Situated between Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, Rancho Park hosted the Los Angeles Open in the late 1950s and 1960s with Arnold Palmer, Charlie Sifford and Billy Casper all winning here. This Los Angeles municipal course also hosted the 1949 U.S. Amateur Public Links.&nbsp;Play this historic course and get some sun!
